Chris has an MFA in Photography and a BFA in Graphic Design from The Savannah College of Art and Design. He recently moved to Knoxville after working as a commercial photographer and teacher for the past 10 years in the United States and South America. His clients include the cast from Duck Dynasty, United Nations World Food Program, 6-time World Champion Jiu-Jitsu fighter Samuel Braga, the current WBF Super Welter Weight World Champion and the Corinthians American Football Team in Brazil and also some of the top international recording artists of all time in Brazil.
Originally from Maryland, he grew up around the water and nature. His original interest in photography stemmed from this culture, resulting in lots of photos of wildlife and landscapes. Portraiture has also been a heavy influence in his shooting preferences. He started shooting professionally in 2003, doing the photography for recording artists album covers and advertising materials. Today, the main focus of his photography is portraiture. Having jumped into the world of film and television during his studies in the masters program at SCAD, cinematic properties are now often incorporated into his shooting style.
